HOST SCIENTISTS AND POSSIBLE RESEARCH TOPICS

seine
An effective way to expose students to the challenge and excitement of science is to place them in a situation in which they are prompted to ask clearly defined scientific questions, design ways to answer the questions, carry out the tests under supervision of experienced researchers, and write up their results. The faculty are doing many-faceted work on organisms and ecosystems at the edge of the sea. There are many themes, from behavior of animals in fluids in motion to whole ecosystem responses to anthropogenic disturbances. The following is a list of just a few of the possible researchers with whom interns may work. Click on the name of the researcher and view the list of possible summer projects with that researcher.
