Conferences at MBL combine housing with three meals a day for all attending participants.
Housing may be reserved as doubles or singles in our dorm style rooms, each room has 2 twin beds; 84 en suite baths, 70 shared baths. We can coordinate roommate assignments to maximize the housing options for groups to 300 plus.
Conference meals are inclusive, served in our Dining Hall overlooking Eel Pond. Serving three meals a day starting with either Lunch or Dinner on day of arrival and ending with Breakfast or Lunch on day of departure. You may opt for a bag lunch on the last day.
Our Dining Services from Sodexo serves creative menus with local and fresh ingredients. We have selections for those with dietary restrictions including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, and nut or sugar free desserts. The food stations include a salad bar, two fresh soups daily, Hot entrees, Deli, Chef’s Station and freshly prepared desserts. The Chef will assist guests with the daily options.

Arrangements can be made for laboratory spaces if needed. Our research facilities can provide microscopes, seawater labs, dry lab spaces and other special requests for marine biology.

MBL campus offers wireless internet access for all guests, included in the Administration Fee.
Hard wired internet can be arranged for groups needing that capacity.
Conferences are important for networking with colleagues.The MBL provides beer & wine or full bar mixers which can be combined with a poster session. Mixers can be scheduled for before dinner and after evening sessions, based on your agenda, ending by 11:00 PM.The 2 hour events for $15/$22 per person include soft drinks, water and dry snacks.For additional catering, please check our Conference Catering menu.
