Banks:
A branch of the Martha’s Vineyard Savings Bank is located on Water Street in Woods Hole. An ATM machine is available there as well as at the Steamship Authority (down at the dock), and outside the Woods Hole Market.

Contact your hosting department for information on sending or receiving a fax. Faxing services are also available at the Woods Hole Public Library.

Announcements of MBL lectures and local activities and events are hard to miss, but do check the bulletin boards and flat-screen monitors in Swope, Loeb, and Lillie. Also, visit the MBL online calendar.

Local Accommodations:
If you will have visitors, please remind them to make reservations for accommodations early. The Cape fills up quickly! MBL does not offer housing to visitors, but there are hotels located a short distance away.

Parking at the MBL and in Woods Hole is extremely limited and regulated. The MBL maintains an off-campus parking lot and provides scheduled shuttle service to the main campus.  The use of bicycles is encouraged.
