Public Computing at the MBL
The MBL provides public computers in three locations in the Lillie and Swope Buildings. These locations are accessible (with an access card) 24 hours per day - 7 days a week.
Swope:
The public computers in Swope are located in the lobby next to the Housing Office. These computers are for e-mail and Internet access only. You cannot print or edit documents from these computers. The computers do have ssh and telnet capabilities.
Library Lobby (2nd floor Lillie):
The computers in the library lobby are equipped for web-based searching of databases, e-journals and the Library Catalog. You can print documents and access the Internet from these computers, although it is preferred that you use the computers in Lillie 204 for those applications.
We also provide a public phone connection and network connection in Lillie 204 for use with your laptop, and public network connections in Swope. The public network connections in Swope are located on the second floor next to the Meigs room.
