Illumina Sequencing

  • Go to https://sequencing.mbl.edu/pubforms/Illumina.html to submit a request for any type of Illumina sequencing
  • For amplicon sequencing only, you must complete the current metadata submission file forĀ  on either platform: Illumina_Sequencing_Submission
  • Send the completed form to jvineis@mbl.edu (1st worksheet only)
  • You must provide a valid cost center under ‘funding’ if you are an internal user
  • Your sample or samples must be provided to Joe already cleaned, pooled, and size-selected, if relevant
  • Data will be provided after the run is completed and demultiplexed
  • If you do not have an MBL cost center, follow these steps:
    • Discuss the project with the Center Director
    • Obtain an MBL account number by contacting Katie Newhall
    • Request a formal quotation for the agreed-upon work
    • Provide us with a Purchase Order
    • Enter MBL account number and PO number in ‘funding’ field
