MBL Annual Fund Nearing Year’s End

December is the time when most people make their charitable gifts, and it’s also when the MBL Annual and Alumni Funds receive up to 50% of yearly totals. We need the participation of the entire MBL community to help us reach our goal!  MBL supporters are encouraged to make their gifts before the end of the fiscal year on December 31.

The MBL’s giving website, provides a quick and easy way to make a gift online and lets donors make a one-time gift, a tribute or memorial gift, or sign up for automatic monthly giving. For questions about the MBL’s Annual and Alumni funds, please contact David Gallagher at

There’s Still Time!

If you are 70 ½ years or older, we invite you to consider investing in the MBL with a special year-end gift from an IRA. Up until December 31, 2013, those who qualify are permitted to rollover up to $100,000 from their IRA to charity free from federal income tax.
