ORGANISM CARE UPON ARRIVAL

Notify us immediately if you encountered any delays in delivery of the organisms or if they arrived in poor condition.

It is very important to transfer the organisms from the shipping bags to your aquarium as soon as possible, using the following procedures.

We ship the marine organisms to you in plastic bags filled with seawater. The temperature of the water in the bags and the water in the aquarium must be within 2° F before you transfer the organisms. Sudden temperature changes greater than 2° F could result in death of the organisms. Float the plastic bags containing organisms and shipping water in the aquarium until the seawater temperatures equalize. You may add several cups of seawater from the aquarium to the shipping water to speed up this process. When water temperatures equalize, you may release the organisms into the aquarium. Do not allow shipping water to be added to the aquarium. Immediately remove any dead organisms!
