Environmental Hands-On Research Course

Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL), Woods Hole, Massachusetts

Fellowships* for Environmental Journalists

Julia-Kumari-Drapkin-on-MV-SJP-2 Participants in the program experience field and laboratory science immersion at both the MBLĀ  in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, a world center for marine, biomedical, and environmental science, and at an MBL field research site (locale to be determined). Please see the 2016 program description and schedule. 2017 program information will be posted by Dec. 1, 2016.
C.Neill_.SJP_2 ALASKA FIELD EXPERIENCE (Dependent on program funding. Application requirement: Completion of the Environmental Hands-On course). Travel to the Toolik Field Station on Alaska’s North Slope and spend 10 days learning to ask and answer key questions in polar research.
