Fall 2002

Letter From the President

PresidentDear Friends,
Warm greetings to MBL Associates in Woods Hole and elsewhere. We're thinking of you and look forward to your return. It's been a rainy autumn but the sunsets are beautiful and the skies are as magnificent as ever. What was once the off-season is now the business-as-usual season and we're humming along. That's why we've started this newsletter to keep in touch. Please let us hear from you in return.

Membership increases; the gift shop prospers; Ted Sorenson gave an outstanding Falmouth Forum talk; we're planning an Associates winter coffee event; more to come. We'll be in touch.

With all good wishes from Woods Hole, Ruth Ann Laster

Let's talk

We have two opportunities for email users:

The Associates Office plans to create an email list for those members who'd like to be kept up to date on Associates news and events. If you'd like to get these updates please email the Associates Administrator, Susan Joslin at sjoslin@mbl.edu.

We have received a number of requests to receive the MBL Calendar ("green sheet"). We'd be happy to pass your email address on to the MBL Communications Office to add you to their growing "calendar via email" listing, just email our office. If you don't have email and would like to receive the MBL Calendar on paper, please call the Communications Office directly at 508.289.7423 and ask to be put on their mailing list.
