Invest in Free Cultural Enrichment for the Community:
Be a Part of the Falmouth Forum Challenge
The MBL Associates invite you to join them in bringing free cultural enrichment to the local community by participating in the Falmouth Forum Endowment Challenge.
The Falmouth ForumEntertaining, Challenging, and Enhancing our Community
Since 1989, the Falmouth Forum at the MBL has lured year-round Cape Codders out of hibernation for an evening of free cultural enrichment with friends and neighbors. The MBL Associates present the series, which brings nationally known artists, writers, historians, and other scholars to Woods Hole for the benefit of the public. Over the years, the Falmouth Forum has become an increasingly well-known and highly valued cultural offering, welcoming the likes of David McCullough, Doris Kearns Goodwin, and Julie Harris to the laboratory’s Lillie Auditorium.
The Challenge:
A drive is now underway to raise an endowment of $150,000 that will support the series in perpetuity. You can help to ensure the continued success of the Falmouth Forum by participating in the Falmouth Forum Endowment Challenge. An anonymous donor has agreed to contribute one dollar for every dollar raised, up to $50,000. A fundraising committee comprised of individuals who enjoy the Falmouth Forumand appreciate the work of the MBL Associates in creating and maintaining itis asking for the community’s help in meeting the challenge and raising an additional $50,000 for the endowment.
Results to Date:
To date, we have raised $111,285 towards the goal of $150,000. $38,715 remains to be raised, and we ask that you help us to reach the endowment goal by donating what you can.
How to Give:
Please give to The Falmouth Forum Endowment Challenge and help ensure that the Falmouth Forum performances continue to entertain, challenge, and enrich our local community. To contribute or for more information, contact Kristine Johnson, MBL Development Office, 508-289-7766 ; kjohnson@mbl.edu
