Cottage Housing Regulations During COVID-19

The MBL is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic with the goal of protecting the health and well-being of our faculty, staff, and visitors. We appreciate your close attention to the items listed below.

 

  • Prior to Arrival on Campus:
    • Campus card access will not be turned on until COVID-19 attestation/training is completed
    • Parking:
      • Returning visitors:
      • New visitors:
        • You will need to complete your parking pass after you arrive on campus and receive your MBL ID Card
    • MBL ID Card:
      • Returning visitors:
        • Please make sure you bring your MBL ID Card with you
        • If you no longer have your MBL ID Card, please contact housing@mbl.edu at least 48 business hours in advance so we can print a new ID for you
      • New visitors:
        • Please contact housing@mbl.edu 48 business hours in advance of your arrival to schedule a time to have the photo for your MBL ID Card taken
  • When you arrive in Woods Hole:
    • Contactless check-in/check-out
      • When you arrive to Woods Hole, please go directly to your housing assignment found in your confirmation
      • You will find the door to the unit unlocked and your keys, parking pass, and ID, if needed, on the kitchen table.
      • Call 508-289-7668 upon arrival/departure of the unit, so that the Housing team can complete the check in/out process.
    • Updated Housing Rules
      • There are no unapproved guests and visitors allowed in MBL Campus buildings at this time.
        • This includes all housing units.
      • Campus card access will not be turned on until COVID-19 attestation/training is completed
      • All Residents are asked to maintain the appropriate social distance from other residents around your units, as well as in common spaces such as the laundry room
      • Report all maintenance problems to the Housing Office at 508-289-7668 or housing@mbl.edu
        • If there are maintenance issues/concerns during your stay Facilities staff will only enter the unit if no residents are present
