The Biomedical Hands-On Laboratory Course will be held at the MBL (Marine Biological Laboratory) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Woods Hole is located on the southwestern corner of Cape Cod and is a world center for marine, biomedical, and environmental science. In addition to the MBL, Woods Hole is home to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, two federal government facilities (the National Marine Fisheries Service and the U.S. Geological Survey), and several smaller enterprises and labs.
Biomedical Course fellows will be provided with MBL dormitory-style housing during their stay in Woods Hole. Meals are also provided and are served in the MBL’s Swope Dining Room.
These are intensive courses, including evening commitments. It is recommended that fellows plan no external work commitments during the fellowship.
