Summer Camp & Children's Programs
2023 Summer Camp
The MBL is partnering with YMCA Cape Cod and with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution once again for the 2023 Summer Camp Program. This year both Satellite and Periwinkle groups will be on the MBL Campus. The Satellite group (ages 7-12) will be at the MBL Club and Periwinkle group (ages 4-6) will be in a cottage at Memorial Circle. Camp will begin on Monday, June 26th, 2023, and continue for 10 weeks. The program will operate Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM with extended day hours to cover 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Families will be able to sign up for one or more weeks of summer camp at a time. The cost per child is as follows:
Ages 4-6 = $405/week or $350/week if local Y member
Ages 7-12 = $375/week or $305/week if local Y member
AM Extended Care = $31/week
PM Extended Care = $31/week
AM & PM Extended Care Combined = $52/week
In addition, we are excited to share that this year campers will have an opportunity to register for the Children’s School of Science morning sessions running from 8:30 am - 10:15 am daily Monday through Friday. Session A of classes will begin July 3rd and will continue until July 21. Session B will run from July 24 to August 10. Children must be at least 7 years old to register. Once the morning session has ended, a staff member from the Children’s School of Science will walk students who are also enrolled in the YMCA camp back down to campus.
