The Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability, age, military service, marital status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or other factors as prohibited by law.  This prohibition against discrimination applies to admission to and participation in the educational programs or activities that MBL operates, as well as to employment in those programs or activities. MBL is required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) and the National Science Foundation’s Title IX implementing regulations not to discriminate on the basis of sex as described above.
