Periwinkle Club (ages 4-7) and Satellite Club (ages 8-12)

Marine Biological Laboratory summer camps are designed to provide age-appropriate activities and supervision for children of MBL faculty, investigators, administrators, and staff. These programs seek to support children’s emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development in a group atmosphere that encourages a sense of community, fun, and appreciation of the uniqueness of the Woods Hole setting. Periwinkle and Satellite camps will run from June 17 – August 23 (8:30am – 5pm with Extended Day option from 5 – 6pm). Children will be placed in the appropriate camp based on their age at the start of each session. Dates and tuition fees are listed on the online registration page.

Both camps have highly qualified, dedicated, and diverse staffs with a multitude of talents. Daily activities are planned including: sports & games, arts & crafts, STEM activities and local excursions. Children’s School of Science morning pickup: for the 8:30am class at CSS, counselors will pick up Satellite campers and bring them to camp at 10:00am. This service is provided for Satellite Club campers enrolled in the 8:30 – 10:00am CSS class only. Please let the Director know in advance if you would like this service.

The camps comply with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, are licensed by the Falmouth Board of Health, and are members of the Massachusetts Camping Association. If you are not affiliated with the MBL but are interested in camp, please email
