Choose Your Virtual Cephalopod Week Adventure! | Science Friday

Join Bret Grasse, MBL’s manager of cephalopod operations, on June 24  as Science Friday celebrates Cephalopod Week! Grasse and members of his animal care team at MBL (Danielle Dallis and Taylor Sakmar) will be interviewed in the lab alongside their octopus charges after a showing of the hit video, “Cephalopod Inc.” The program begins at 6 PM ET on Science Friday’s YouTube livestream.

Cephalopod Week is upon us! And we’re swimming into our eighth year of spotlighting these majestic sea dwellers. To celebrate this colossal anniversary, Science Friday is hosting three special events for Cephalopod Week, happening June 18 to 25, 2021. We’ll get behind-the-scenes at an aquarium, play deep sea trivia, watch mini documentaries, and more! Find out all of the ways we’ll be honoring our favorite undersea buddies throughout this year’s Cephalopod Week.
