Imaging @ MBL: Innovations in the Development, Application, and Teaching of Microscopy Methods in Biology

For decades, MBL has been recognized for innovations in the development, application, and teaching of microscopy methods in biology. Most of the MBL courses have an imaging component, and some are dedicated entirely to presenting and teaching leading-edge methods in microscopy. During the summer, microscopy vendors bring equipment worth tens of millions of dollars to the MBL for students and faculty in the courses and for MBL scientists to use. New microscopy techniques are continually being tested on applications that address pressing biological questions, bringing together instrument developers and biologists who are at the forefront of their respective fields.
