MBL to Offer Genome Editing Workshop for Secondary School Teachers

Secondary-school science teachers interested in incorporating genome editing into their classrooms and curricula are invited to attend a pilot workshop at MBL, to be held June 9-13, 2019. Participants will receive hands-on training and scientific background in CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing using the frog Xenopus, a well-established model organism in biomedical research. The workshop is led by MBL Senior Scientist Marko Horb, director of the National Xenopus Resource at MBL.
