Asgi Fazleabas

With sadness, the Marine Biological Laboratory notes the passing of Dr. Asgi Fazleabas on May 28, 2026. Dr. Fazleabas was a global leader in the field of reproductive science and authored more than 200 scientific publications. He was a University Distinguished Professor and Michigan State University Foundation Professor. Dr. Fazleabas was a course director and advisory chair for the Marine Biological Laboratory's Frontiers in Reproduction course at the MBL for over 20 years.
