Poster Session Highlights Undergraduate Summer Research at MBL

This summer, MBL welcomed more 50 undergraduate researchers to campus where they investigated questions in ecology, marine chemistry, animal behavior, and much more. Thirty-two of the students presented their hard work at the Undergraduate Research Poster Session in the Swope Center on Friday, Aug. 15.

Each of the 32 undergraduates had been mentored over the summer by a scientist from the MBL, the University of Chicago, or another institution through the MBL Whitman Center, including six students who participated in a new University of Chicago undergraduate fellowship named "Working with Non-Traditional Model Organisms in the Biological Sciences."
