Tuesday, June 1: Arrivals and Dinner

Fellows arrive. MBL’s Diana Kenney will meet fellows who arrive in time for dinner in the Swope Center Dining Room at 6:00 PM.

Wednesday, June 2: Laboratory Orientation

8:00 AM:    Breakfast
9:00 AM:    Welcome and Orientation

  • Welcome
  • Introduction of fellows, course faculty, and staff
  • Overview of fellowship requirements, etc.
  • Walking tour of MBL facilities and Woods Hole

12:00 PM:  Lunch
1:00 PM:    Biomedical fellows to lab; discussion of goals for program
3:00 PM:    Tour of the lab, instrumentation, safety protocols
6:00 PM:    Dinner

Thursday, June 3

8:00 AM:   Breakfast and Meet the Scientist: Talk by a guest scientist on a topic related to the biomedical fellowship
9:00 AM:    Discussion and lab work
12:00 PM:  Lunch
1:00 PM:    Discussion and lab
6:00 PM:    Dinner with Environmental Fellows
7:30 PM:    Lab work (if needed)
