Wednesday, May 26: Arrivals and Dinner

Fellows arrive. MBL’s Diana Kenney will meet fellows who arrive in time for dinner in the Swope Center Dining Room at 6:00 PM.

Thursday, May 27: Laboratory Orientation

8:10-8:30 AM: Covid-19 testing (in MBL Quad under tent)
8:30 AM: Breakfast (Swope Center, 2nd floor)
9:30 AM: Welcome and Orientation (Meigs Room, Swope Center, 2nd floor)

  • Orientation: MBL Education
  • Introduction of fellows, course faculty, and staff
  • Intro to MBL and Fellowship requirements
  • Walking tour of MBL campus

11:00 AM: Rare Books Tour (Lillie Building, Grass Reading Room)
12:15 PM: Lunch
1:15 PM: Biomedical fellows to lab (Loeb 306): Chalk talks
3:00 PM: Coffee break (Swope Lower Terrace)
3:30 PM: Tour of the lab, instrumentation, safety protocols
6:00 PM: Dinner

 

Friday, May 28

8:00 AM: Breakfast
9:00 AM: Discussion and lab work
10:30 AM: Break (Optional; can walk to Woods Hole Market or Coffee Obsession for coffee)
11:00 AM: Return to lab
12:15 PM: Lunch
1:15 PM: Lab
3:00 PM: Tour of MBL Marine Resources Center (meet Diana in front of MRC)
4:30 PM: Return to lab
5:30 PM: Beer-Wine Reception/Dinner with Environmental Fellows (Swope Lower Terrace)
7:30 PM: Back to lab: Discussion

 

Saturday, May 29
